Well News about the Train of Hope 2012. Sorry to say that it will not be taking place.
We had the Flying Scotsman 4472 Given to us for the Tour by the National Railway Museum.
We had the support from Virgin trains.
What we did not have was rollingstock for the day. West Coast Rail could not fit us into thier 2012 timetable.
We will look at running it again in 2013 but that's a long way off so all we can say is keep looking at the web site for news.
For now we are putting our efforts in to helping another Manchester Driver Fred Sullivan.
